MUSIC and MATERIALS

Vocal music, theory and musicianship pamphlets and source materials will be provided at cost to the students. Students will be required to have access to a keyboard or tuned piano at home to practice and a recording device is preferred for group lessons.

PAYMENT

Payment is required in full at each private lesson by check or cash. For group lessons, payment is required in full at the first class of the Program. (Cash, check, PayPal and Venmo accepted.) Students will not receive a refund for cancellations or absences. The group lessons will begin when the minimum of 4 students is reached. Additional students may be added up to the second week of the 14-week session. Students who begin after the first session will be assessed the “per student per class” rate for the number of classes they will attend in the session. One makeup class will be offered at the end of the 14 week session for students who miss classes. This class will be at no cost, but at the instructor’s convenience. Every effort will be made, however, to coordinate the “makeup class” to accommodate the students’ schedules.

CANCELLATIONS/CHANGES

Cancellations or changes are requested at least 24 hours in advance. In the event of sudden illness, emergency, inclement weather, a courtesy call is requested. Private lessons may be rescheduled at a convenient time for both student and teacher. Cancellations or changes are not USUALLY possible for group classes. One makeup class will be scheduled after the final session of 14 classes at a convenient time for student and teacher.

PUNCTUALITY

Punctuality to classes is required. Because of tight class scheduling, a student cannot be guaranteed a full class if tardy.
